HP Sprout Product Launch Promotion

HP needed help getting sales associates trained on all the features and benefits of their new 3D printer, the HP Sprout. 3D printing technology was somewhat new and difficult to explain to customers who might be unsure if they wanted to buy such a high ticket item.

Program Design

Working with the client and Program Manager, we developed a Sprout Certification program consisting of six online training courses related to common questions and features around HP's 3D technology product. Once users on the HP sales training site had earned their HP Sprout Certification, they were eligible to win one of five HP Sprouts of their own.

UI/UX Design

For the design of the promotion, I really wanted to promote the fact that HP was giving away FIVE of their Sprout printers. The Sprout printer retails for over $1,500 so this was a big investment on HP's part. I also made sure the instructions for the promotion were clear and the courses associated with the HP Sprout Certification program were clearly listed and easy to access.

Flyer Design

To help generate excitement for this promotion, I created flyers to be posted in breakrooms within major retail stores that sold the HP Sprout. The program ran on two sites simultaneously: CyberScholar and Best Buy Learning Lounge, so a unique version was created for both audiences.
